About Us

Collections by Marty opened its doors as an antique shop in Scottdale in 1989.  Over the next twenty years the store evolved into a country gift and home decor business.  Most recently one half of our 3000 square feet have been transformed into a women's boutique.

Collections by Marty expanded to its second location in Donegal in 1992.  We rented a little red garage for a year and then moved into a large restaurant building.  The three floors held wonderful antiques and a large inventory of handmade gifts.  Sadly, in 1995 an arsonist burned the large building down.  One year later we reopened in the front building.  The two large floors feature country gifts, primitives, home decor, candles and women's accessories.

Two of the staff members in Scottdale, David and Kathy, have been dedicated to the business for 21 years.  Our newest member, Deb has been a welcome addition for the past year.

The staff at Donegal also have long term commitments to the store.  Carrie is the Vera Bradley expert, Bobette manages the country decor floor and Linda does it all, working on both floors.  We appreciate their dedication.

Collections by Marty is a family owned business, and takes its name from owner Marty Savanick, who also operates Miss Martha’s Tearoom & Gifts in Scottdale, where the daily menu includes soups, salads, sandwiches, and special desserts.
